Joe, a worker at the Devils lake location her address to contact her about paying her reinstatment charges. I have other things to pay other then paying for someone who does not want to help themselves. I will remove my membership and everyone im affiliated will boycott the gym If i do not get a resolution. I had requested back in December for it to be removed because I also dont even talk to the person i signed up and they do not even go to the gym because their fob was left in my apartment. In January, there was a payment of $300.04 taken from me in neglect of this person not taking my payment method off of their account. They dont even go to the gym and they do not have a fob. So I had gotten someone signed up for AT at the Devils lake Location, and have been over charged for my membership and theirs, I had ask repeated time to have my card removed from their account. I did everything in my power to cancel and am wrongly charged. I can't believe this is how they are doing business. I even reached out to the secondary billing people at ABC and they said they could refund but would need Anytime Fitness to tell them they are allowed to refund me. I would like to get a refund for my 2 months I was wrongly charged. I realize COVID has affected all us in some way- but this is just ridiculous. I had been a long standing member of this gym and it has gone very much downhill. So we both signed our cancellation and the found out we got charged AGAIN in January. The other guy (I didn't get his name) chimed in saying his was the manager of the club and he can't help us (he was incredibly rude). They said they could not refund as I didn't let them know 30 days before even though I had been trying-it isn't my fault the club was closed, Nate was no help, there was another guy in the room so I asked if there is anyone else that I could talk to. My husband and I both had to go in and cancel each of our memberships in person. The next day was Christmas Eve so I ended up calling him back on Monday Dec 28th-but by this time I had already missed the opportunity to cancel before getting billed again. I do not have cell service at work so I got the voicemail from Nate. Around this time the gym was opening back up in our area. I didn't hear anything back until December 23rd nearly a month since I had first contacted the gym to try to cancel. I did not hear anything back so I called and left a voicemail at the Dilworth MN location (my home gym) the following week on Dec 3rd. I called and left a few messages and also sent an email on November 24th stating I would like to cancel. At the end of November I knew my 2 month freeze was going to be coming to an end so I wanted to reach out to my club to cancel. With the COVID pandemic I ended up freezing my account on Oct 1st. My husband and I have been Anytime Fitness members for several years.
